To Suzy, Lynne and Van, I’m writing this for my mother (who is now living with me) because of her eyesight difficulties. Your Mom was such a wonderful woman and friend to my mom. They spent many an evening at one or the other’s cottages watching TV in their night clothes. I,too, thought the world of your mother. I always spent time with her while visiting my mom. Her sense of humor, strength of character and her dignity in the face of aging challenges leave me in awe. I will never forget the Christmas Eve that she joined us for dinner and late church. I still laugh at the urgent banging on the door after midnight only to find Suzy and Glover in a panic, having had no idea where she was. We laughed and laughed that night and I will always remember Margaret with a smile. Thank you for sharing her with us.

My first job at CSX was working with Mrs. Margaret. I can truthfully say, had it not been for her encouraging me, telling me I could do this job, I probably would have quit!! She worked with a couple of "difficult" individuals and did so with calmness and grace. She surely was kind to me. I worked there for 19 years and really enjoyed my time at CSX. I also worked with her at the credit union and enjoyed that time as well. She had a long and happy life but I'm sure she will be missed. My thoughts and prayers will be with your family.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is very painful. I can't exactly understand how you feel, but our Heavenly Father Jehovah does and he will give you the strength to endure. Sending my condolences to the family, I am so sorry for your loss. To live to 102 is absolutely amazing, an soon we will live longer than that. In the Bible actually it talks about the time when we live like the days of a tree (Isaiah 65:22). That comparison is used because trees are known to liverify several years an that's how it will be for us an our loved ones in the near future.
